This was a fun short film made in 2 days for a class at American University.

This is one of the videos I made while working for Empower2Play, a nonprofit that uses sports to support and distribute scholarships to underprivileged youth. I created this video by combing through hours of audio from AK’s old inspirational speech videos, creating a custom score and foley and editing together licensed stock footage.

I wrote, directed, shot, and edited this video essay when I was applying to colleges in the Fall of 2016.
I could talk about the specific people and places that made me who I am but instead I am sharing a small part of myself in my video essay: My love for rainy nights. In the video the rain and night are symbols for my surroundings that inspire me. Did water and darkness really tell me stories? No, but I wanted to show that every little thing inspires me to create.


Created for Project4Awesome 2016 (a charity contest) to inform the public about what The Pure Project (the nonprofit I founded) was.

Shot in 3 days with a budget of $200. This video is the extended version of the short film “Bell” submitted to the Houston Cinema Arts Society in order to include all of the credits.
