T-SHIRT BOOSTER CAMPAIGN

I had moved from Tampa (where The Pure Project was founded) to Alexandria, VA so I started a new virtual fundraiser where people anywhere could contribute. I designed these blue long sleeve t-shirts and created a campaign on Booster. Although, we set an ambitious goal of selling 100 shirts, we ended up selling 76 in just 14 days and raised over $1,200!

The woman on the back of the shirt is a nostalgic symbol of1950's America when consumerism ran rampant and started to invent health problems in order to advertise solutions. The point of the advertisement composition and slogan is to remind people today that clean water is actually a luxury good. Something we take for granted because we have access to it and 663 million people do not.

15th annual PIGTOWN FESITVAL

I drove to Baltimore, MD to run a booth at the 15th Annual Pigtown Festival. Samantha handed out flyers, and informed people about the water crisis in Haiti. Although it rained, and I did not have a tent to protect the booth, I persevered and raised $75 by selling t-shirts, baseball caps, and collecting donations.

ST. PETERSBURG HIGH BAKE SALE

Pure Project ambassadors Lea Flynn and Shelby Figueroa hosted a bake sale at their high school and raised over four hundred of dollars.

LEWAYISYEN X THE PURE PROJECT

CLOTHING LINE COLLABORATION

Le'w Ayisyen, a Haitian clothing store online and we decided to collaborate with them because their brand was also passionate about elevating and empowering Haitians and their culture. Le’w Ayisyen created a dedicated “Pure Project Collection” containing specialty apparel of my designs and 75% of net proceeds were donated directly to The Pure Project for the purpose of providing biosand filters to households in Haiti. The specialty designs were available on apparel for men, women and children.
